Don't know where i'm gonna land
WHO: Lapis Lazuli & Ginko
WHERE: Menagerie
WHEN: Day 36
WHAT: Lapis Lazuli harasses a poor tall lad who only wants to do his job.
WARNINGS: N/A
In getting used to the Carnival and all of its... intricacies, Lapis has been wandering around. Both on foot and in the air. Partly in an attempt to test whatever it was keeping her here for weaknesses (she's found none), and to learn the layout. Might as well spend her time doing something useful for herself.
Where here wings take her today doesn't actually bode well for the person she's seeing. She lands a little harder than normal, and her feet make a soft noise as she hits the ground, but she doesn't seem very deterred by that. Rather, she's choosing to instead fix a glare at the person doing something with a chain around and animal.
"What are you doing?" Sure did just get a little chilly out with that tone.

There's something undeniably nerve-wracking about trying to lead around what is essentially an enormous carnivorous bird, no matter how fluffy and well-fed it is.
As such, he is - visibly - a little more startled than he might otherwise be by suddenly being addressed, especially like that.
"--Uh." The dinosaur, apparently displeased with Ginko suddenly stopping, takes a stubborn step forward, and Ginko stumbles a bit on his hooves to keep up. "Just taking this guy out for a walk. Something wrong?"

She'll follow any steps he takes, though she is fairly pleased to see that the giant animal can boss around the one with the chain. "If it's just going for a walk, why does it need a chain?"

For being as uncomfortable as he is right now, Ginko does a pretty decent job of hiding it. Or maybe that sense of detachment is just a side effect of his being distracted by the combination of keeping an eye on the tyrannosaurus and staying steady on his still-new hooves.
"I mean, I assume you can tell I can't actually pull this thing anywhere. But it's been taught to stay by me when it's on a chain. Makes it easier to get it where it needs to go."

Besides, Steven had Lion, didn't he? Lion didn't use a leash.

Sort of.
Hm.
Ginko leads the tyrannosaurus into the exercise area and pulls over the stepstool sitting against the fence, then glances over his shoulder at Lapis as he steps up to get the chain disconnected from the dinosaur's collar. "...Did you want something else?"
