Just as he turned she DID slip on ice, arms windmilling for a second before she grabbed onto the side of a tent nearby for support. She clung to it for a moment, the fabric dimpled around her claws where it had dug in.
"Awww, my flip-flops," she said plaintively, looking down at them. The claws on her toes had stabbed clean through them when she'd reflexively popped them out for traction.
