With that knowledge, it is dull by comparison, especially when it isn't actually doing anything besides shooting upwards (and thank goodness the place really is fireproof).
Even so, Childermass is still a little slow to react, to respond, though gauging how impressive something is from him alone would be an incredibly poor plan. Even if he wasn't still recovering, he's not exactly keen on letting what he really thinks show too often.
"Because it's not really doing anything," Is what he'll eventually point out, once he's had a moment to think and generally dredge up a reason to care about whatever nonsense Strange is trying to plan out for his act. "It just shoots up one way. What's the use of that?"
