Or maybe it's that Strange isn't mad but Childermass is. How else would anyone explain this? While there's no real reason to assume the man doesn't have an enjoyable bone in his entire body, that he's gone this far down from how he usually is certainly can't be deemed sane and normal. Who would know, though? Who has ever seen Childermass be more than mildly amused, give more than a smirk or even a rare chuckle?
