Even with the worst of the damage healed and taken care of, Greg still feels pretty shaky and ill. It could be the blood loss, or the leftover adrenaline, or even the exhaustion. Whatever reason, that's not why he's in the medical tent.

He wants to carry his kid back to the trailer, or even the van, someplace that's personal and private and theirs.
