To be honest, Lambert was just looking up at the wrong moment while he was on his way to get a meal -- whatever he can get out of one of the line cooks -- before he heads back to the medical tent to tinker with more alchemy. What he's not being expected is to be accosted into conversation so abruptly, and he responds to that smile with a scowl.
