[Yuugi remembered letting himself go and then...nothing. Absolutely nothing but blurs. With Chiaki out of the way, his self control and the battle of wills going on in the back of his head, there was nothing holding him back from tearing into the party guests nearest to him. His ears flicked back against his head as he remembered the screams that broke through the filter, shuddering and turning his head away.
Though, the gesture with the elk makes his gaze flick back and his ears perk, cocking his head curiously. He reeled himseflf back before he did anything though, undeterred by his sire's will down here as he was. Instead, Yuugi paid more attention to the smells and sounds coming from where he can sense them. As much as he'd like to comfort the other boy, it just wasn't possible right now. He stands, crouched still on all fours, and dug his fingers into te dirt below, claws of his pawfeet scratching into the surface.]
I smell two.
[It's sort of funny how he's gotten so used to having a snout in such a small amount of time, but like all his changes Yuugi took it in stride. He stepped slightly to Gongenzaka's right, away from him, and sniffed. His nose wrinkled, hackles raising with his growl, before he turned his attention back to the other duelist.]
Gongenzaka-san, are you...okay to fight?
[Can I trust you? went unsaid. He wants to trust with all his heart but recent events... Yuugi dug his fingers further into the dirt, waiting patiently as the footsteps start sounding.]
