Steven has been cowering away from the sight of this mess, trying to focus his scattered attention on the hallway outside. This is a bit much for him, and he definitely can't bear to look at someone getting huge spikes pulled out of their face.

Of course, his attention is drawn right back when Zecora suddenly explodes.

"OH MY GOSH," he says, jumping in alarm and turning to see the cloud of zebra in total bewildered surprise. His immediately response is to compare it to a gem poofing, and he isn't sure what to make of that. "Is she okay?!"
