Peridot doesn't exactly hug back, but it's only because expending any extra energy sounds like a pain right now. Instead she leans heavily into the hug and out a happy little beep, tail swishing across the bed. "Nyeh. More or less," she snorts. "Apparently I've slept more over the last few days than I've done in the last several thousand years combined."
