Complicated. A lot of humans like to act like that isn't the case. He's actually surprised that Lambert isn't under the impression that he does dislike humans. Sans finds himself making passive aggressive comments about the subject frequently. Yet, Lambert is right.

"Humans can't help being humans," he says, with something like resignation. "But they can help what decisions they end up making. I find you guys exhausting more'n anything else." And then, a little more softly. "Monsters aren't naturally hateful creatures."
