Peridot is still hopping mad but, to be honest, Strange’s reaction acts as something of a salve, especially since she’s choosing to interpret his exit as nothing less than his utter terror, both at how ferocious she is and how right she is. She snorts once, like an angry bull, and then turns on her heel and goes to sulk while she gets more work done.

In general, people will give her a wide berth for the rest of the day, if they know what’s good for them.
