In the end, Tamaki had stubbornly decided to stay with his body instead of going with Sans and moving on. He'd watched as the other foster kid in his room woke up and started screaming, watched as his former foster parents got their story straight. They'd wanted to take Tamaki to the hospital, but he'd refused and violently pushed him away. Then he fell asleep, and they found him like this. A sad story of a kid too stubborn or stupid to receive help. He'd followed his body out with the coroner, and ridden in the car until they arrived here.

He looks around a bit before following his body into the morgue. So far, no one has noticed him, and he's not expecting it to be any different now.
