It's an obvious observation, but hearing it put into words somehow makes it worse.
"D... don't say that like it's normal!" she sputters at him from the floor. Gritting her teeth, she pulls herself up until she's crouching on her feet, but the wings don't cooperate. Not knowing how to move them properly, she ends up flailing them in agitation, causing them to thump against the walls, knocking down any loose items in her vicinity and kicking up dust.
"What the hell am I supposed to do about this!?" she cries, not necessarily expecting the injured guy to have an answer, but he's there, so he gets to be the one she yells at.
