He doesn't even notice her, his usual focus being completely over-ridden by something more instinctual. He's not moving at all except to blink and breather, but it's strange because even as he's still his antennae are twitching like crazy. After a long moment he takes a step forward, and it's only his surprise at his own movement that breaks his concentration. He looks confused, still oblivious to Doll's presence, before he shakes his head and turns to leave. Except he turns right into Doll, jumping back startled as he finally sees her. He puts a hand over his chest, eyes still wide in surprise.

"Oh! Uh, Sorry! I was just..." Well, he doesn't even really know what he was 'just,' so he trails off awkwardly focusing on the space between them. After another moment's silence he clears his throat. "...Enjoying your tea?"
