Rin swats at his dad and his big dumb head, but is careful not to use claws. Just the flats of his palms.
Once he escapes from Shiro's grasp (or is released, whichever comes first) he wipes GROSS DAD SPIT off his forehead.
Then he smiles a bit, sheepishly
