Huh. So humans are born with the potential for ability, but need to learn how to use it? And if they don't, it's basically unusable? Sure, androids can learn and hone their skills even further -- he's a shining example of knowing how do to things he shouldn't -- but they all have at least a base level of ability dependent on their model. And their role is always dictated by their model. A scanner model like him is never going to be as good in combat as a battle model.
