Strange has wasted about a third of his arrows in the chase and is looking very put out about this whole matter—partly because of the arrows and partly because, though he hates to admit it, Lambert's right. Just chasing after this thing isn't helpful, especially since the damn thing can turn into smoke. They need a plan. And, as someone who can also turn into smoke, Strange comes up with part of the solution quicker than Lambert.
