In Jasper's considered opinion, no one needs to be dancing with Lapis except her – but Lapis is definitively out of reach now, and while Jasper might ordinarily absolutely make this even more of a scene than it already is... well, she's pretty addled by the Prince's magic right now. This is supposed to be a nice party.

It makes her ache inside, but she relents, letting her hands fall into quiet fists at her sides, and turns away to find someone else to dance with.
