Susan was escaping out here to get some fresh air, to actually be outside instead of inside cooped up, and when he sees Strange he heads over towards him. He should be good for conversation, to keep his mind off of other parties and being attacked.

The question makes him pause though and he looks up to the sky.

"Maybe they are real, and he was just hiding them before?"
