A little bit of an explanation beforehand would definitely have been appreciated by Five here, but she also understands they are under time constraints. That doesn't stop her from gasping with a mixture of surprise and fear when they head straight under falling debris, though. She doesn't really have a moment to ask questions, because just as swiftly as they moved into the shadow, they're moving through it, somehow, and the darkness that comes with it is not completely dissimilar to looking into the vastness of space... minus the stars.
It's just a void, but whether or not it feels like vast open darkness or more tight and suffocating, she doesn't have long to think about it (though, frankly, she'd rather have the latter over the former), because in the next few seconds they're back in the ballroom and Five's still hanging tight to the man's arm. She's even more disoriented now than before, not quite certain what just happened but pretty sure she'd just experienced more magic.
"Wow." And for the moment that's all she can really say. Except, maybe: "How...?"
