Joker indulges his wild behavior and by proxy he tends to cling a little more than he should. He'll look out for Joker on his best behavior or as much as he can stand. He has to protect what he values after all.

He shouldn't have let me and he shouldn't have boldly kept his wings in to test my own resolve on whether I would catch him or not. I was enchanted. He could've gotten hurt. Still, he just smiled."
