Julien shrugs, feeling vaguely bad for making Joker feel like he has to defend him.

"I said don't escalate it, and then I saw him, and I said 'go', but it didn't... well." He shifts on the bench, cradles the instrument closer. "He got caught. He got hurt, a lot worse than I was." Julien had been bitten and mauled about some, but he has the ability to heal himself.

"The blame is mostly on the Prince. I don't like... I hate thinking of people as like a missing stair or a wild animal, where they don't have responsibility for anything they do, it's all on you. But I kinda feel like saying that... it looks like trying to dodge responsibility, too."
