"I know you will." It was a determination he saw in her from the beginning when they first met. That same ferocity with which she met all her challenges as Inquisitor. It was what had drawn him to her and it would be his downfall if he let it. It was all he could do to keep his gaze from her and he lets out a soft sigh.

"As have I," he admits. If the lies were over between them then he should say that much. That he wished their love could endure, could be enough for him to be satisfied and stray from his path, that had been true too. But... He walked a path of death willingly and wished far more that he had not brought her into it. "It is fitting that we meet in the snow once more."

Though this place was far different than the snowy trails by the Conclave. Everything was different here removed from Thedas. That was what they both had to be wary of.
