"But your... function?" Is that the right word? Must be. "Is clearly not determined by anything else other than what you were programmed to do. It may not be impossible to change that."
Which is hypocritical coming from Lavellan -- not knowing what to do now that everything she thought she knew had been taken from her, exposed as a lie. But she's always been a hypocrite.
