By contrast, Julien likes his time off. When he's worked terribly long hours it's been because he was working with someone he felt had a genuinely important job and really needed the help. Lately he's been suggesting to Carly in various ways that she take some time to herself, too. What's a staff and various gadgets for if not to do some of those things?

"Excellent. I'm going to be a menace. I go on the roller coaster sometimes, you know, for that thing at the end. But I can't fit my big feathery ass on it. For some reason it wasn't constructed with five hundred pound birds in mind, you know?" He weighs a little less than that, but not much. Julien as a bird is built on a rather large scale and all the classic avian weight-saving techniques like air sacs in the bones and a lack of teeth just make him lighter than people expect, not light.

"Anyway, no fear of that. If I did take to the sideshows, I can multitask! The rest of me isn't much good in here. Can you imagine me with a brush in my beak winging someone's eyeliner?" He grins.
