Miko doesn't exactly trip over Pumpkin; more accurately, she finds herself with very little time to avoid her, and so ends up tripping over her own dumb kangaroo feet, landing face-first on the ground with a startled squeak.

She doesn't seem too bothered, though, and is sitting back upright with a hurry, her face lighting up when she gets a better look at the little orange culprit. "Wait-- holy crap, what is that, a pumpkin dog?"
