Well, her confusion is intelligible, but...

There's often a big gap between what Foster is thinking and what he's saying, but this time, he didn't actually share his epiphany aloud in any form. And, uh. Well, he doesn't realise that he didn't.

So his brow furrows, one back leg spasming with a short kick at a sudden throb of pain--maybe he shifted?--which appears to spur him to actual speech, if not... coherent conclusion.

"It's... not the same?"
