Victor doesn't like this. That much is so apparent and it's just obvious from his words and his thoughts. Cole knows he messed up somehow, trying to help, the words didn't come out right and confused Victor instead. He's got to find a way to fix this or make it better and, at least in Cole's mind, there's one obvious option.

"I can make you forget," Cole says, barely audible. "Not Yuri, but me. This talk. It might be for the best."

He doesn't mind. Sometimes he still messes up, sometimes the words still get stuck. It's better this way, after all.
