Alphys lets out a vocalization that's halfway between a pterodactyl screech and a dying owl. Just when she thinks she can't possibly make things worse- she makes things worse.

"O-ohh jeez, you were the one---!" She claps a hand over her snout and tries that sentence over again. "I didn't know! I had no idea! Why don't I ever keep my big mouth shut!?"
