All this discussion and sulking is gradually forcing Sans awake, stirred by the obvious presence of other people. It's enough to make his subconscious start considering things like where he is and what he's doing. Which... is sort of weird and disturbing thing at the moment.

His leg shifts and causes more cracking in the side of the egg, like he's trying to pull his foot back in and failing. His tail uncurls inside the egg, his stinger piercing through the shell as he stretches.

"Not this egg," he repeats, barely cognizant, as if he's making some kind of backtalk by saying as much.
