Back in the Noah's Ark Circus, we had a system where people who'd just joined had ta take care of tasks like cookin', or cleanin' out the animal cages. Minor stuff that didn't have a lot ta do with performin'. Once ya were a more established sort, who was out there performin', then ya didn't have ta cook anymore.
