Rita just deflates. The energy seems to drain out of her, the fight in her eyes fading into a tired, empty look.
In the end, she couldn't do anything. Strange was taken and she couldn't stop it. She finally got the nerve to fight, but accomplished nothing.
Faced with Jasper's question, she offers a simple, unenthusiastic answer. "It's magic." What else would it be?
