Steven is sure they'll try. It's just hard to take comfort in, when nobody has really managed to save him from her before. Not when she already had him. Not like this. He's afraid that if they try to save him, they'll only get hurt themselves. Or worse.

He nods a little, though, because he doesn't want Strange to think he isn't listening. It comforts him to know that Strange is trying, even if its hard to believe in.

But, that brings something else to mind.

"Do you know... if Mr Childermass is okay?"

Obviously, things could have changed after Strange himself was taken. He just wishes he could know the other changelings were still safe. Childermass, Rita, Ginko... they'd all be targetted before. Childermass would have it even worse than he does.
