One hopes he'll be able to read Reiji like a book, almost- as Reiji's tendency to simply not say anything to hide what he doesn't know often leads people to otherwise assume he's hiding something.

Not knowing, perhaps, is the more forgivable state compared to the alternative. Reira does her best to listen about the logic of having a story read before sleep, finding herself with a grimace at the idea.

"...I don't think I'd be able to fall asleep," she decides, shaking her head. "...not if the story was in the middle of something."
