Yuya's expression flatlines at Strange's grumbling, very blatantly for a second before he sucks in a breath and smooths it back out to something more open and neutral. Or at least, that's what he hopes his face is doing.

"It's not that easy to push out what other people say about you. Not for everyone." Maybe it's just that Yuya understands, getting so comfortable in a lie to protect yourself from the cruelty of others that you can't separate yourself from it anymore. It becomes just as much who you are, and then it's a struggle to let it go when you go so long believing in it.
