Peridot tells them that's great, because she has the strongest opinions of just about anyone she knows. She was king of the trash pile that Lilith fished her out of. All the other raccoons knew not to mess with her.

Unsurprisingly she does not take being scoffed at very well, and it is super hard for her to keep a lid on things and keep from blowing her cover, so at this point she has to grumpily excuse herself before her pride makes her say something super dumb.

Leaving that group of animals in the dust, the last thing she wants to do for now is to ask someone else that, if Saraqael is off limits for talking to, is there someone underneath him that she can talk to whose job it is to help acclimate newbies?
