Wow Susan you can't just ask why someone isn't flying.

"That's why I'm climbing," she says with a scowl. "I don't know how to fly."

Sadly, young bats have the joy of teaching themselves to do this in the wild.

And frankly, if this were the wild, she wouldn't be old enough to go for it at all.
