Peridot-- still a bat, at the moment-- lands in front of Lapis and eyes the surrounding animals warily. Her fur is on end, eyeing all the shapes in the dark. Is it just her, or are these guys trying to herd them forward...?

"Um--" She swallows. "Should we try talking to them?" She hisses frantically to her companions.
