"Wandering around. Looking at things. Listening to people." Staying out of the way mostly. He was small and he would have been stepped on or eaten by some of the bigger animals. So, he was doing the smart thing and making sure his life stayed intact.

"I like the garden," he says, scrunching up his nose. "There's lots of things to smell in there. And lots of places to hide."
