There's kind of a mental trick to it, but you basically have to look into it and then will yourself to become your reflection, which will teleport you into the Mirror chamber. The biggest challenge is that there is basically always at least one member of the Twelve in either room, and usually more than that.
The Architects supporting them have extended their influence to try to keep those numbers to a minimum during the heist, but there are good odds they'll have to confront at least one hostile Architect.
