Their attempts to distract make their movements more careless, and in the end that bites them - the cords connecting their weapons give Bezaliel leverage to step on them and move forward, digging his claws into their gut and slashing upwards, barely missing the gems and piercing the light of their body.

Yet, somehow they can't break into parts like they usually would under such force. Their body won't discorporate, which just means that Bezaliel manages to lock them into a deadly bear hug and sink his fangs into their shoulder.

Smoky yelps with pain they haven't actually personally experience in their short time existing, the Ringmaster's enchantment unwinding and revealing their true form. Their wings flap wildly, trying to get away.
