"Well, in the past she can cast out all who displeased her and ripped their minds from their souls, leaving them to suffer, undying but forever starving," Saraqael says, as if shrugging. "Who's to say how she'll react if we manage to do something that makes her even angrier."

He gestures at the fruit with a paw.

"You can take one if you want, but I believe the applications are limited... mostly they are for granting sapience to otherwise wild creatures. If you are already sapient, there is much less to gain."
