Of all the arrows to rain down upon the horde, it is those crafted from Dark Signer fire that react with the most volatility, crackling and exploding when they come into contact with the shields; but it is also these arrows that, ultimately, seem to do the least damage, fizzling away most of the time once their clashes with the powers of the Signer marks settle. Her hellfire arrows are snuffed out as well, if with less excitement.
Carly's healing fire, on the other hand, don't seem to trigger the shields at all; in fact, while they do bounce and fizzle when they come into contact with already-existing bubbles, these bubbles eventually fade after several seconds pass without immediate danger; when these arrows fly, the shields do not return in response. They certainly don't hurt the clones, but it is a step.
The horde, meanwhile, remains ignorant of Carly's presence.
