Lilith stops in her tracks, staring in horror. She can't believe what the Ringmaster has just done, and she can feel her grasp on the Mirror's power slipping away. Her first reaction is anger - anger at these intruders, and angry at this stupid dragon. They had no right-
She looks like she's going to attack, but then something else catches her attention. The Serpent has circles the city in its coils, it's head looming over the Ringmaster, its eyes sharp and intelligent for the first time in eons.
"Leave this place," Yeqon the Serpent hisses, and then lunges with open jaws. The snap of her fangs sound like a thunder crack, and leave Lilith sprawling as she dodges the attack.
Lilith stares, shaken, only for that emotion to gradually shift into resignation and bitterness. She laughs shallowly.
"Take it," she says to the Ringmaster. "May it bring you only misery."
