And though I respect her plan, Peridot wasn't sensible enough to bring someone who could communicate over long distances on her exploratory mission."
But then again, it looks like the people who can communicate over long distances are Strange himself and a sleeping Steven. Not exactly the best pool to choose from. Lambert's pretty heavy, so Strange attempts to gently steer him towards one of the beds, so both of them can actually lay down.
