Kuro gives Yukio a satisfied purr when the exorcist pats him on the head, and seems satisfied with that compromise.

He looks at Nosh and gives a cheerful, "Myaao!"

Nosh nods in understanding, then gives Rin one more gentle nuzzle with her nose, ruffling his hair and his new feathers there. Then, she and Kuro exit the tent to find a comfortable place to rest.

Rin hears the tent flap close with a fluttering of fabric, and then he smiles.

"They're just worried... that's all. But Kuro trusts you, and he was telling Nosh to trust you, too."
