But in the back of his mind, there'd always be that uncertain mantra, that bit of paranoia and uncertainty. He'd thought Celebration would be okay, too, but...]

Right now, it feels like he can actually be what he's always wanted to be. Not twisted and broken and constantly fucking up. Can he change things? For once, he feels certain that he can.]

So he's taking the time to live what good they have available, exploring all around, hoping to see people he knows. So of course when he sees a familiar figure, hidden away in a shyness that doesn't entirely suit her, he can't help but break out into a beaming smile.]
