In his one track mind glory, Strange is assuming by 'him,' Yuya means 'Ignatius.' This is the part where he lets his feelings shine through: Strange shakes his head, looking intensely disappointed in himself. He should have done better.

"He's hurting," Strange murmurs, obviously trying his best to keep a level tone in his voice. "I can't reach out to him, I don't even know if he's alive...he caused that explosion a few nights ago. It damn near took everything out of him but the Mother of Invention's still standing." Strange opens his mouth like he's about to say something, but catches himself at the last minute.
