You can probably transport him, but it'd have to be willingly at this point. As it is, Ignatius seems conflicted. He gets shoved back, looking initially baffled - but he's smart enough to recognize an illusion of himself when he sees one. Mostly because he obviously knows that's not him.
The Mother is obviously trying to get his attention, and he's not so sure he wants to hand it over to these two with no input.
