Yuusei has been sorely absent from a lot of the commotion going on, catching some of it by ear but otherwise electing to just not for a hot minute.

That election vanishes when the Mother appears in all her massive mechanical glory. Yuusei is all but awestruck by her appearance. Awestruck and horrified.

Out of the corner of his eye, he sees Herbert ducking back into the safety of the shop and follows quickly after him. He doesn't plan on being long.

"Herbert!" he calls with a sharp whisper. "If anyone ends up severely injured out there, can I bring them to you to take care of?"
